Partnering with RootOne

In these most challenging of times, we continue to be committed to bringing Israel to Tel Yehudah. We do this through our immersive Israel programming designed to introduce our teens to Israel’s culture, history, people, geography, politics, successes, and challenges.  And we do this by bringing staff and campers to join the Tel Yehudah community. More than anything, Israel is about people, our family.  This summer we will have at least 60 teen campers from Israel along with our largest delegation of Israeli staff.   And while it’s not quite the same as traveling to Israel, we provide a rich and meaningful Israel experience in Barryville, New York.

And so, Tel Yehudah is thrilled to announce we have  been accepted as  a  RootOne trip provider!  RootOne is an initiative of The Jewish Education Project that helps connect thousands of Jewish teens to Israel by lowering the financial barrier to participation in immersive trips, and by investing in the educational quality of those experiences.  A seamless partner for Camp Tel Yehudah  with shared values, mission and vision, we can’t wait to work with  RootOne  to not only grow the number of teens who participate in our program, but to enhance the depth of their experiences as well.

As Tel Yehudah partners with RootOne, we want you to know about the availability of two types of RootOne vouchers to use toward tuition at Tel Yehudah this summer:

  • Current 10th graders registered for the full four-week Hadracha program (Blocs 1 and 2) are eligible for a $3000 RootOne voucher.
  • Current 10th and 11th graders registered for Merkaz are eligible for a $2000 RootOne voucher.
