During the summer our staff and teens are creating memories that will last a lifetime! We’re excited to share our adventures with all of you at home and help you, our parents, alumni, and the rest of the Tel Yehudah community, get a glimpse into all of the amazing experiences taking place each day here at camp! Summer is prime time to share the magical moments TY creates amongst our teens, staff, and entire community here in Barryville. Updating our parents with the most relevant information is crucial and important in fulfilling our mission and values here at camp!

Each summer we are committed to posting camp updates through our various online media channels and want you to be in the loop, so you can follow along with us all summer!

Facebook (Camp Tel Yehudah)

On the official Tel Yehudah Facebook Page, we will provide a glimpse into daily life at camp, share more about our programs, and reinforce our values. Not only will you be able to hear the latest news from TY, but we’ll share news from the rest of the Young Judaea world, too. We’ll also be posting a weekly album containing photo highlights from each fun-filled week here in Barryville and perhaps even a video or two.

Follow us on Facebook and like our page.

Twitter (@TelYehudah)

Make sure to check out our Twitter account regularly for daily chug updates and follow along with our daily schedule at camp. We’ll be posting one update per chug each day, so you’ll be able to see at least one exciting event or activity your teens are enjoying each and every day. We’re excited to tweet about our daily activities, special occasions, and everyday life at TY.

Follow and interact with us on Twitter.

Instagram (@TelYehudah)

Though we’ve been using Instagram frequently throughout the year, we’re thrilled to finally use Instagram for pics all summer long that you can search using #12719. Each day, we will pick a fun picture from a different area or activity in camp to highlight on Instagram as our picture of the day! Over the course of the summer, we’ll make sure to highlight a huge variety of sites, activities, and people who make camp the amazing place it is each summer.

Make sure to follow our account and check out our daily pictures.

YouTube (Camp Tel Yehudah)

Summer is a great time to capture footage of our teens having tons of fun all around camp. With the help of our video specialist and our teens, we will be posting videos from camp at least once a week.

Tune into our channel to see what’s happening at camp.

Photos/CampInTouch

Our camp photographers make rounds ALL AROUND camp every day to capture as many amazing moments so that we can share them directly with YOU! As always, parents are able to view photos taken at camp through your online CampInTouch account. Here, you’ll be able to view the many photos taken at camp each day and even have the opportunity to download and purchase the ones you like. Typically, photos will be uploaded to CampInTouch overnight, so you should be able to check out photos from the previous day over your morning coffee.

Stay connected to all the fun and login.

Blog

Our blog is frequently updated with fun camp posts, including bios and introductions shared by many of our awesome staff members, fun commentary about camp activities directly from members of the community, fun extras, and some crucial camp information. This summer, we’ll also be sharing stories from our very own staff members about their own first experiences at TY, including fun recreation of old photos at camp! You can check back for new posts every few days or just subscribe so you can be notified when a new post is shared!

Newsletters & Emails

Our BaMachane newsletter is an update from camp sent by email at the end of each week that includes articles from our very own teens as they reflect on the awesome experiences they are participating in throughout the session. In addition, we will be sending weekly emails straight from our Merakzim (unit heads) to update you about your teen’s specific activities and experiences. We’ll be sending these to the email addresses you have listed on your camper’s registration, so please make sure that the email you listed is the one you check regularly.
