Tzedakapalooza

Tzedekapalooza is an outdoor festival that celebrates our teens’ activism, talent and leadership!

Tzedekapalooza brings together all our teens to learn about the wide array of issues our Hadracha participants have spent the summer learning about and building an action plan around to make an impact! Each of our 10-12 Hadracha “tikun teams” hosts a tent where the rest of camp visits to learn about their particular issue (which could range from Israel advocacy to women’s rights) and how they themselves can get involved in the cause at camp and beyond!

lgbtThroughout the afternoon and evening of Tzedekapalooza, our campers also enjoy a barbecue dinner while being entertained by our campers’ own music, dramatic performances, dance, video presentations and more!

Our teens conclude Tzedekapalooza by taking part in a structured discussion and group-decision making process with their bunk and the rest of camp, exploring how to prioritize between so many issues that require our attention as American Jews.
