As soon as we finished celebrating Tel Yehudah’s 75th Anniversary this summer, we turned our attention to our upcoming centennial by launching The Road to 100: TY Comprehensive Campaign. Through the Road to 100 Campaign, we have already begun to build a stronger, more vibrant community, improve and expand our facilities, and offer a wider range of exciting and meaningful activities for our campers.   With these ongoing improvements, we continue to build strong Jewish identities grounded in lifelong commitments to Jewish learning and pluralism, Israel and social responsibility.  Over the past two years, we have raised and invested close to $4.5 million into the physical camp along with significant funds in our program and staff. You will see many upgrades throughout camp including new roofs, new shower houses, improved staff housing, better accessibility throughout camp, and landscape improvements.  Many improvements also took place underground with newly installed water lines, septic systems and improved foundations.  But there is so much more to do!  Help us pave the Road to 100 together by supporting our many initiatives to modernize both our program and facility.

Make your donation to Camp Tel Yehudah today as we travel down the Road to 100 together.

Your donation to the Road to 100 Comprehensive Campaign will immediately support the building of a new Hadar Ochel (Dining Hall) in Aleph to open in June 2024. Learn more and help build our new Hadar Ochel.

Tree Dedication

Once upon a time, TY was filled with apple trees!  While most are gone now, we have begun reforesting Tel Yehudah with trees that will last for generations to come.  So far 57 new trees have been planted.  Dedicate a tree for yourself, in honor of a friend or madrich/a or for your shichva.

Gaby Barton z”l Memorial Scholarship Fund

Gaby tragically passed away on Wednesday September 26, 2018, leaving a tremendous hole in the hearts and lives of all those who loved her.   A proud Young Judaean, Gaby attended Camp Young Judaea West, Camp Judaea, Camp Young Judaea-Sprout Lake Camp and Tel Yehudah, worked at Sprout Lake for two summers, and was a beloved member of Year Course 14-15.  Gaby loved Camp Tel Yehudah in Barryville, NY, where she spent three unforgettable summers. Knowing how much TY meant to her, Gaby’s family has created a scholarship fund in her memory that will allow other teens to have life changing summers at Camp Tel Yehudah.

Tel Yehudah Staff Fund

Each summer, we bring a diverse and deeply committed group of 150+ young people from across North America, Israel, the UK and more. Our staff works tirelessly to create an unparalleled experience for our teens. The TY Staff Fund helps support orientation and in-service training, day off transportation, fun evening activities, end of summer staff banquet and more. The staff members will be notified of your gift on their behalf.
