Yom Atid is a daylong celebration of Jewish Peoplehood across the globe!
Atid, the Hebrew word for ‘future’, is the international partnership of three Zionist youth movements, all of whom uphold the core value of pluralism: Young Judaea in the US, the Tzofim (Scouts) in Israel and Federation of Zionist Youth (FZY) in the UK. We are lucky to be able to hire staff from all three movements each summer who add to our overall staff of incredibly diverse group of young Jewish adults from around the world.
“Yom Atid” is a day we spend celebrating that diversity with special themed meals and optional activities prepared by our Tzofim, counselors from FZY and Young Judaea’s own leaders. Whether sitting down for campwide tea-time, a shesh-besh (Israeli backgammon) tournament, or hearing about year-round Young Judaea programs, teens have fun while learning about what it means to be a Jewish teen across the world, especially in the US, Israel and the United Kingdom. We conclude Yom Atid with a concert from the Israeli Scouts Friendship Caravan!
