24 Miles to Victory

Backpacking was a lot of fun. It was also A LOT of work. In total, we hiked 24 miles with many uphills and downhills. Going uphill was very difficult, but when we got to the top, the view was amazing! Our group had seven campers and two counselors in it. We all banded together and became close friends. At night, we made bonfires and talked around them. While we were walking, we would play games and sing. It was a very rewards trip in the end and something I will never forget.
